Welcome to the July, 2009 issue of Hawaii Wine Lover. We have adopted a newer format and hopefully you will find it appealing.

There are many events covered in this issue, and it is difficult to believe that we have just breeched the halfway point of the year! Soon there will be Halloween decorations adorning the local stores...

Recently, we here at HWL have ahd a chance to reconnect with friends from the past and learn of new friends in the world of wine, here in Hawaii. We will continue to bring you stories and reviews, and coming soon HWL will expand to include more art and music coverage in addition to the current format.

Special Allocation Tasting on July, 17th!

I am always interested in trying new wines...sometimes, they're not new, but rare. I am offering HWL readers a chance to join us for a special allocation tasting of several wines that are not readily available here in Hawaii.

The reason for it is to get a chance to experience some of the great wines that are available to the world, even if it's for a short period of time.
