Yields are down!
Apparently the grape yields are not just down in California, but across the ocean as well, in Champagne, France. Some of the top Champagne producers of the region have stipulated that the yields are 10% lower than last year with the Chardonnay being the most affected. In spite of this, the quality is expected to be as good if not better than previously, and we’ll hope the prices don’t soar! |
